About Arboleas

Arboleas is a small, rural town, nestling in the foothills of the Filabres mountain range, on the banks of the Almanzora River, and surrounded by pleasant, and fragrant, olive groves and citrus orchards – indications of the importance of agriculture to the local economy. The town is steeped in Andalucian history and cultural heritage, with cobbled streets, a town hall and church that date back to the 15th century, and a traditional, local market, held every week.
