Almeria Airport

Almeria Airport (LEI) is located approximately nine kilometres east of the city centre and 500 metres from the coast. The airport is modern, featuring accessibility for low mobility, several shops and restaurants.

Upon arrival, visitors are given the option of taking a bus or taxi into town, as well as renting a car. The number 14 local bus line links the airport with the central train and bus station facilitating travel to places further a field. Buses leave the airport every half hour throughout the day, and every three-quarters of an hour in the evening. The buses start just after seven in the morning, and finish just after ten at night. Taxis are available at the entrance of the airport and will transport visitors to wherever they want to go. There are several car rental agencies

Almeria Airport offers travellers both domestic and international flights to a variety of destinations. Some of the internal routes are to  Barcelona, Madrid, Melilla and Palma de Mallorca. Excellent connections to tourist destinations are available from the airport, including Cabo de Gata, Aquadulce and Mojacar. International locations include Brussels, Düsseldorf, London, and Munich.
